The Macedonian has been the dominant force in the virtual racing series this season, winning both opening rounds before following up with a P2 in the most recent round in Diriyah.
Leading closest rival Kevin Siggy by 12 points going into the penultimate round, Jajovski yet again nailed qualifying, securing P2 on the grid. And things would immediately get better, Erhan passing polesitter Frederik Rasmussen for the lead into Turn 1.
As he has proved during the course of the series, Jajovski is a formidable front runner. And having maintained a comfortable gap between himself and the competition, he took P1 for his third Formula E: Accelerate victory, with teammate Lorenz Hoerzing coming home P4 to complete a double-points performance and a haul of 37 points.
âFinishing in P1 is a huge weight off my chest! My qualifying lap wasnât perfect, but I think there was still pace left on the table,â commented Javovski afterward. âAt the start of the race, I wasnât expecting Rasmussen to lift so early into Turn 1 and this meant that I moved into the lead. From there, I briefly dropped back behind him when I took my first Attack Mode but I got past.
âI used quite a lot of energy in the opening stages which meant I had to save quite a lot until the chequered flag. Going into the finale, I will be keeping the same approach and I just want to do my best as always.â
Yet another victory for Jajovski means that he is now almost impossible to catch in the championship standings. He leads from Siggy by 36 points with just a round remaining.
