Antonio Felix da Costa is ready to give it his all in a bid to successfully defend his Formula E title that he won in Berlin a year ago.
The Portuguese has taken to his to his new team like a duck to water, winning with DS TECHEETAH in his very first season with the team, his brilliant finish of two race wins and a podium at the Berlin Tempelhof Circuit enough to take the title.

And with Da Costa just 15 points adrift of championship leader Nyck de Vries, a similar result would go a long way to achieving a famous repeat.
“We go to the final showdown in Berlin, we’ll need to fight for it as we did it last year, and I am confident that as a team, we will give it our all,” said Da Costa.
In the Teams’ standings, DS TECHEETAH lies fourth, just 17 points from the top. So there is also a chance that title could also be secured, with double champion Jean-Eric Vergne always a force to be reckoned with.
“Berlin is coming up where we have had great success and hope to repeat as we go into the final 2 races of `season 7,” added team principal Mark Preston.
DS TECHEETAH is not the only Acronis partner team hoping for a grandstand finish to the season this weekend, with both ROKiT Venturi Racing and the NIO 333 FE Team looking to finish on a high.
“It’s been an incredibly close, tight season and as we discovered in Puebla, one good weekend can change everything,” commented Susie Wolff, ROKiT Venturi Racing Team Principal. “We know we have the pace but we also know what we’re up against and only when the chequered flag waves on Sunday will we see if we’ve really achieved our ambitions for this season.”
