M-Sport teams up with Acronis for cyber protection

Acronis, a global leader in cyber protection and M-Sport Ford World Rally Team today announced a multi-year technical partnership. Under the agreement, the Swiss-Singaporean company will provide the team with innovative cyber protection solutions designed to improve data resiliency and create a more efficient, secure workflow.

M-Sport Ford World Rally Team will be able to access backup, disaster recovery, file sync and share, notarization and e-signature services from a single, intuitive console. As a result, the team’s data will be fully protected from modern cyber threats while remaining easily accessible to team members so it can be used to deliver a competitive edge.

While this partnership is Acronis’ first with a team competing in the FIA World Rally Championship, the company is already a technology partner of choice for many Formula One, Formula E, and other professional motorsport teams. These solutions will help M-Sport Ford World Rally Team ensure the security and safety of the team’s data both at events and at the workshop, while allowing Acronis to showcase its capabilities as it continues growing its business worldwide.
