The Hendrick Motorsports NASCAR team, partnered by Acronis, continued its remarkable run of form as Alex Bowman took victory at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway from teammate Kyle Larson.
Victory for Bowman came hot on the heels of defending champion Larson’s win in Fontana the weekend prior, meaning that the team recorded a 1-2 sweep in the NASCAR Cup Series for the 51st time.

“I just can’t thank Ally and Chevrolet, everybody from Hendrick Motorsports, enough,” Bowman is quoted on the official Hendrick Motorsports website following his race win. “This thing was so fast all day. We never had the track position we needed to show it.
“What a call by Greg Ives and the guys to take two (tires) there. Obviously, it paid off.”
For a long time it looked as if the Hendrick run of success would come to an end, Kyle Busch and Martin Truex Jr. fighting it out for the race win before a late caution with two laps remaining sent the race into overtime.
It led to a dramatic finale, the lead cars opting to pit whilst the Hendrick drivers gambled to stay out and resume at the head of the field at the restart. And the gamble paid handsome dividends, Bowman and Larson hanging on in the sprint to the chequered flag to win by just 0.178 seconds.
A side-by-side battle for the win.
