Aramco Aston Martin F1 Team reveals stunning tech livery ahead of USGP

The Aramco Aston Martin F1 team has unveiled a stunning science and technology-based livery ahead of the USGP in Austin, Texas.

According to the official press release, the unique design brings the story of technology and innovators to life on the track. Think professor Stephen Hawking meets Adrian Newey and you get the picture.

And it’s not just one of those livery change gimmicks so prevalent around the USA and Mexico F1 circus swing. The design has a meaning, Aramco launching the ‘Aramco STEM Challenge 2025, which gives students around the world the chance to compete for a placement at the AMR Technology Campus’.

From 2026, Aramco will provide Aramco ProForce+, the FIA-compliant 100% sustainable fuel that will power the team’s race car.

The release states that ‘the livery will take the normally invisible science of a Formula One™ car and make it visible through a design which includes a series of F1-related scientific formulas. The concept aims to bring to life on track the innovations behind the partnership and shine a light on the talented people who work to make it possible.’

“This US GP weekend marks the team’s first livery takeover with our title partner, Aramco,” commented Andy Cowell, Team Principal and CEO, Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team. “Together, we are highlighting science, innovation, and the people who bring the car to life. We’re excited to see the livery on track and proud to showcase the next phase of our partnership, with Aramco set to play an integral role for our race car in 2026.”

Ali A. Al-Meshari, SVP Technology Oversight and Coordination of Aramco added, “This historic moment is an opportunity to celebrate the dedication of the people at Aramco who are developing advanced innovative technologies for use in motorsport and the wider automotive industry.

“For more than 90 years, Aramco has combined imagination, science and engineering to solve challenges people thought were impossible.

“Through our partnership with Aston Martin, we are testing innovative new fuels and materials that could help advance transportation on and off the race track. These exciting efforts will be on display at the 2025 United States Grand Prix.”
