The famous Williams Formula One team has revealed a new livery for the remainder of the 2020 season, that begins in Austria on July 3.
Following the split with title sponsor ROKiT a month ago, the striking new blue and white livery is a very clean and classical look with prominent branding now featuring Canadian food company Sofina and technology partner Acronis.
“As you can see, the livery is unquestionably Williams, with a return of the racing lines which have been so well received internally and by our fans alike in previous years,” read a team statement in notifying its key partners. “The livery is characterised by a blend of navy and electric blue, in addition to more prominent branding for our long term partners, who have remained incredibly supportive during the last few months.”
Williams is one of the most successful and historic teams on the F1 grid, boasting nine constructors’ championships and seven drivers’ championships and hopes to climb further up the pecking order after showing promise during pre-season testing with drivers George Russell and Nicholas Latifi.
