Aston Martin and Valvoline inspiring next generation of mechanics in Mexico

Valvoline Global Operations, a worldwide leader in automotive and industrial solutions, has opened an Aspiring Mechanics Programme to help the next generation ahead of the Mexican GP.

Supported by the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team, the newly launched programme will welcome the next generation of mechanics and local aspiring students from La Escuela Mexicana de Electricidad during the F1 weekend.

This will include trackside access to Aston Martin Aramco, and the priceless benefit of behind-the-scenes advice from professional F1 mechanics as they tour the team garage.

According to the official press release, Valvoline™ Global’s new programme ‘includes a five-year, $1 million USD pledge to support an estimated 10,000 aspiring mechanics globally through training, scholarships and local engagement programmes.’

“From the early innovators behind the steam engines and the original automobiles, to the advanced technicians who are shaping the future of mobility today, Valvoline™ Global has always supported professionals who drive the industry forward,” commented Jamal Muashsher, Global President and CEO, Valvoline™ Global.

“With this investment, we are not only honouring that legacy but also helping ensure the next generation of mechanics have the tools, training and opportunity to succeed.”
